Voicemail
BDT Voicemail will make you wonder how you ever managed with only an answering machine. Get messages even when you're already on a call, and receive email or text messages notifying you whenever someone leaves you voicemail, telling you who called and when. Plus, you can access messages easily from any phone, anytime. With BDT, you'll never miss an important message again!
3-Way Calling
You and your sister want to call your mom to wish her a happy birthday? Use 3-Way Calling to call together! 3-way calling allows you to add a third party to any phone call by just tapping the hook, dialing the number you wish to add, then tapping the hook again. It's that easy!
Anonymous Call Rejection
Tired of seeing "Unknown" on your Caller ID? Anonymous Call Rejection allows you to block calls from callers blocking the display of their Caller ID information. It's a great way to reduce unwanted calls from telemarketers! BDT provides ACR at no charge, and lets you turn it on or off as you choose.
Call Forward Variable
Expecting an important call, but need to run an errand? Call Forward Variable makes it easy to have calls to your home phone automatically forwarded to your cell phone or any other number you choose. Just turn on CFV when you leave, and turn it off when you get home, and you'll never miss a call!
Call Forward Out of Service
Need to move your equipment? Experiencing an Internet service outage? If your BDT phone number is out of service for any reason, this feature ensures you won't miss any calls.
Call Return
Commonly known as "Automatic Callback" or "Star 69", Call Return makes it easy to dial the number of the last call you missed. Just pick up the handset and dial *69 and you'll call the number provided via Caller ID on the most recent incoming call.
Call Waiting
When you’re on a call and receive another incoming call, you’ll hear a brief tone to notify you of the second call. Hit “flash” or tap the hook for less than one second. Your first call is put “on hold” while you answer the second and will resume when you end the second call or hit “flash” again to change calls. Call Waiting can be disabled on a per-call basis.
Call Waiting with Caller ID
When you're on a call and hear the Call Waiting tone, it's not always easy to know whether you want to interrupt your current call to take another. Call Waiting with Caller ID will display the Caller ID info of the second call on your telephone display or other Caller ID device (not provided with BDT) even when you're already on a call!
Caller ID Delivery Blocking
This allows you to block the display of your Caller ID information on any outbound calls you make and can be activated on a per-call basis.
Caller ID Deluxe
Also called "Enhanced Caller ID" or "Caller ID with Name", this always-on feature displays not just the phone number when you receive an inbound call but also the name of the caller. (Requires Caller ID display equipment, such as a Caller ID-compatible telephone or other device. Equipment not provided with BDT service.)
Repeat Dialing
OK, your favorite team just made it to the playoffs, and a limited number of tickets are on sale, but every time you try to call the line is busy... Let Repeat Dialing do the work for you! This feature allows you to have your phone automatically redial a busy number for up to 30 minutes. When it gets through, your phone rings to notify you.
Speed Calling
This feature lets you create, modify, delete, verify and use a list of up to 100 Speed Dial codes for frequently-called numbers. Once you've set up your personal list, just dial *3xx -- where xx is the two-digit code you assigned to the number you wish to call -- and your call is dialed.
